Changes to my studies programme

Image
Hello everyone. Today I will talk to you about the study program of my career.  I’m currently studying dance at faculty of arts, during the four years of career the biggest deficiency in the curriculum was that the first year was a special compulsory high school which does not count in the formal years of the career, I felt that year was a waste of money and the time. Luckily this year was eliminated, so I am very happy for the new generations.  As for the rest of curriculum I have felt very satisfied, I think it approaches dance in a very integral way. Fortunately my career is constantly update and recently renewed the curriculum, integrating in its process heads, teachers and student representatives of the career.  I think the academic load varies according to the subject, in some the load is little and just go to classes you ensure a good result, but others are much more exhausting because it is not only dancing, but we see many more aspects, especially in creative subjects.  My car

Time travel

Hello everybody.  Who has never dreamed of time travel? I have was fantasized about it many times haha. As a child I always trough about what the future would be like, I longed for it to be like the movie Spy kids, although other times I imagined catastrophic things.  Righ now if I given a choice between going to the past or the future I choose the past, because I really want to spend time with my grandfather again, he has been one of the most important people in my life and I would give anything to see him once again. I would like to return to my childhood and relive those days where my grandpa accompanies me to my flamenco classes and always that the end he took me for a cake and a juice yumm😋. I would also like to be back in those days when I could admire him from my armchair while he displayed his beautiful voice among ancient boleros and this time to tell him how proud and happy he made me hear him.  I would finally tell him that I am studying what I am passionate about and I wo

My dream job

When I was a child I always dreamed of being a teacher, a nurse  I entered to a few dance academies. So dancing, rehearsals and performances began to be part of my life very early. In high school I was the one who directed the dances for the acts or for the alliances, it became natural to create choreographies and direct a group of people. I was entertained and challenged to see the capacities that I could make flourish in others. During all those years I participated and directed many dances. A lot of people told me to study something that would assure me the future with money since dance should only be a hobby. Despite everything I entered to study this beautiful art, because it is what I am passionate about. Also discovering contemporary dance was an extra bonus to this love towards movement. My dream for the future is to bring out pedagogy. I will need the skills of communication, reflection and research, among others. The work of pedagogue in dance I imagine it being very enterta

The best concert ever

Image
At the beginning of April of this year I went to a music event that takes place in the commune of Recoleta, the Womat festival, were two days of many national and international musical exponents who excelled with their proposals. My favorite show was that of Pascuala Ilabaca, a Chilean singer and songwriter who stands out for her music with elements of Chilean folklore and Latin American rhythms, she along with her great band composed by drummer, bassist, guitarist, saxophonist and Pascuala who played the accordion, and also his team of dancers gave me an unforgettable afternoon. The concert was at sunset, the weather was warm, the lights and decoration of the place made me feel very cheerful. As soon as the show started everyone was motivated to dance and sing, I was entranced with the sounds and with those rhythms that did not allow me to be still, everything that was happening was very exciting. I remember being very happy sharing that moment with my boyfriend, we took pictures and

Jungles, volcanoes and alpacas 🌎

Hi everyone!      Today I want to tell you about a country that I would love to visit, Ecuador.      The diversity of nature of this territory, its tropical climate and the conservation of indigenous cultures are some of my reasons for wanting to visit it. I think their responsibility about biodiversity is remarkable, in 2008 they signed an agreement that recognizes nature as a subject of rights and this makes a lot of sense, because their Amazon rainforest, islands, rivers and mountains deserve to be preserved.      I would like to visit the Chimborazo volcano and do trekking along its routes that are open all year,  I would also love to go to the Amazon jungle, see its lush vegetation and fauna and let me be enchanted by the sounds that surround the place, and finally go to the sacred volcanic lake Cuicocha to witness some of its shamanic rites, no doubt these are destinations that I wouldn't miss. I really hope that in the future I will be able to make this journey. Byeee ✈
